Each of these opportunities is designed to give you maximum exposure to the local economic development community. Various price levels for different opportunities give you the option to choose the sponsorship that best suits your needs.

Web Site $750
Use of the Internet has exploded over the last 10 years. The same has occurred with MEDA’s web site. Through sponsorship of our web site, you will receive three quarters of a million exposures per year! That is less than 1 cent per exposure! These are specific exposures to individuals who work and operate in the economic development profession. Your logo will be featured on all pages of our web site and will link to your web site.
Annual Meeting $500 - $5,000
Enjoy the opportunity to meet and greet and new generate business by sponsoring our Annual Meeting. This is MEDA’s premier event, bringing our membership to a location for three days to learn, brainstorm and network with others. A variety of economic development topics are covered and nationally recognized experts are featured to give participants the latest information.
Four levels of sponsorship are provided to best suit your needs.

Basic Course Scholarships $625
This is an opportunity to give back to the local economic development community by providing a scholarship(s) that would be available directly to economic development professionals whose organizations have limited financial resources. Scholarships cover full registration to the Course.
The Michigan Economic Development Basic Course is a partnership with the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and Western Michigan University. The weeklong course is a comprehensive educational opportunity with focus on the critical areas of economic development.
The Economic Development Course is also the first requirement in the process towards becoming a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD). CEcD certification, through the IEDC, is a national recognition that denotes a mastery of principal skills in economic development, professional attainment, and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
Membership Directory $1,000
This 80+ page directory is the ‘MEDA Yellow Pages’, listing the entire membership both by last name and by organization. The directory is distributed to the entire membership and key state agency staff. The membership constantly relies on the directory as quick reference when looking for contact information. Sponsorship covers the direct cost of printing and mailing.
Membership Programs $500 - $1,500
These daylong sessions, held quarterly, focus on specific topics that develop the economic professional’s skills and knowledge base on strategies to provide economic and job growth to their community.
Exclusive Sponsorship $1,500 Co-sponsorship with other organizations $500 each

Golf Outing $100 - $500
Join us as a sponsor for our annual golf outing. The outing raises money for scholarships for members to attend training both in state and out of state, so that they can develop the skills and attain the knowledge that will help their community’s economic competitiveness.
Opportunities range from golf hole, contests, and awards ($100 to $200) to lunch or reception ($500). Each year we also look for donated giveaway items such as golf balls, tees, etc.

Regional Programs $500
